Learning to Forgive The Learning Series Book 3 edition by RD Cole Katie Mac Romance eBooks

Blaire Morgan recently lost her twin brother to a drug overdose. After the funeral, she left town, desperate to get away from everything that reminded her of her brother. She ventured out west, meeting a woman named Mandy who taught her all about seducing men, then stealing their money.
One morning she wakes up to find that Mandy had up and left, stealing everything but leaving one hundred dollars and her brother’s guitar. Angry for trusting her, Blaire has no other choice but to go back home to Mobile, Alabama.
When Blaire walks up to her old job, a bar owned by her friend and employer, Janet. When she sees her brother’s old motorcycle parked in front, she loses it. She goes inside, finds the person who has been using it, and punches him in the face.
Enter Lyric Devereux. Lead singer of the house band at Jay Jay’s and local drug dealer. Well, maybe not drug dealer. It’s complicated, you’ll have to read it.
From the moment Blaire AKA Red’s fist connected with his face, Lyric felt an inexplicable pull towards her. Read Learning to Forget and travel on the journey of learning to accept love and learning to forgive others.
I love RD Cole. I heard so much about her Learning series and had to give it a try. The first two books are nothing like this one. This book has a darker feel to it. It deals with drugs and there are instances of child sexual abuse. Just a warning.
I loved the relationship between Lyric and Blaire. It was constantly changing, but not so much that you’d get annoyed with one or the other being stupid. There relationship with each other is perfect and it evolves in the right way for them.
The only thing that really annoyed me was there were multiple grammar errors. It could be just me, since I analyze every little thing I read. It’s quite annoying.
This story is epically amazing. I think it was told perfectly and is probably Robin’s best work to date. I really hope there’s gonna be more, since the last sentence leaves you hanging. Just a bit.
Five big, bright stars for Robin Cole. I believe this book was probably hard for her to write, due to much of the subject matter. But she did amazing and this is definitely a story you want to read. I would suggest reading the first two books in the series, but you don’t have to.

Learning to Forgive The Learning Series Book 3 edition by RD Cole Katie Mac Romance eBooks Reviews

This is book 3 and it was reviewed by Melissa a Book Worms Reviewer.
Thank you Melissa.
She gave this book 5 stars.

There's nothing more tragic then losing your sibling, especially your twin. That's what Blair feels anyway. After her brother's death she leaves Mobile to try and distance herself from the memories that threaten to consume her. When she returns a year later a hardened, callous, person instead of the timid girl she left, she wants nothing more than to get her brother's things and move on. That is until she finds out that the one prized possession of Benji's has been sold. After punching the mysterious, dark man who dare ride her brother's motorcycle she can't seem to get him out of her head. Who is he?

There is probably no one who is as dark as Lyric "The Demon" Deveraux, or so he thinks anyways. The hard life that he grew up with and continues with everyday doesn't have time for a fiery red head with a great right hook in his life. He has a mission and he can't deviate from that, but he can't stop thinking about her either. What did he do to deserve her wrath he didn't know, but he was going to find out. Even if it means the putting the job he's on in 2nd place, but he knows that's not an option because his life and other's close to him are in danger. Can the darkness ever go away and will Blair be there when she finds out who he really is?

From my thoughts to R.D.'s eyes....

Oh my freaking hell, this book was amazing. Can I really only give 5 stars, I want to give so much more (small pout). I really have loved the other two books but when Lyric was introduced I knew I wanted to know more of him and I was not disappointed. This book had DRAMA, darkness, love and light and the feelings that Lyric and Blair had, not just for each other but for themselves and those around them were, to say the least, INTENSE and not always in a good way. Some of the secrets that are revealed (no I'm not giving them to you) were unexpected and made me want to cry. The secrets came from both of these characters, but Lyric is just, damaged. I wasn't sure if he could even feel anything but Blair managed to change that, but not for lack of trying not to from both of them.

Lyric and Blair have definitely become one of my favorite couples. I was wondering if Tru ever really got a break in her life, but that's what Lyric was there to protect. How does Tru fit into Blair's story. Well Learning to FORGIVE, is part of that, but that's all I'm saying.

All the usual stuff, the writing was streamlined, very few errors, yada yada yada. Back to the book, R.D. Cole managed to bring to light the very darkness that no one wants to see and she does it in a way that has you craving for more. So very impressed. READ THE BOOK!!!!!
*5 Stars*

This series just keeps getting better and better! I was nervous to read this book because I'll admit, I did not want to like Blaire. After the way she treated Trudy, I just did not want to like her.

Blaire did redeem herself to me in the book. (As much as I hate to say that. lol) She truly had a reason to be as angry as she was and she was having a very difficult time letting go of it.

Lyric. I want a Lyric!! He is the total freaking package! Protective and gentle one minute and a total bada** the next minute! He is HOT!

For a while I have been looking for a book with lots of action and this has so much of it!! I loved the suspense. It made it so hard to put the book down. I was sucked in from the beginning. So much happens in this book that I just can't write about it without spoiling the story. There were a few unexpected surprises as well.

R.D. is such an amazing writer. The intensity of this book will keep you from putting it down. The emotions demand to be felt. It was painful, angry, loving and passionate. The characters were strong even when they didn't think they were. The characters in all three books of this series are very well developed which not only makes the stories easy to read but very enjoyable. I love R.D. Cole and cannot wait for her next book! I definitely recommend this and would also recommend you read Learning to Live and Learning to Heal first.
