Deadly Intent Bk 2 by Margaret Daley -- First, I really like Margaret Daley's stories. However, I gave this book 3 stars BECAUSE it is so SHORT!!!! The story could have been such a wonderful read but, you are just really getting into it and BOOM!, its finished!!! While I recognize that we live in an instant gratification world, I like a story that really goes into the details while maintaining a fair degree of action/suspense. WHEN A STORY IS SO SHORT (shorter than 300 pages, in my opinion), it should state that it is a Novella or a Short Story. Then, those who like short stories will be happy to get what they want. A Book (novel) is not a short story made for Reader's Digest. I will not buy another book less than 300 pages in length! I know publishers are always pushing these authors to keep the story short. WELL, there are actually some of us who like a BOOK, not a short story! I am not a happy camper here! I would have given this book only 1 star BECAUSE OF ITS LENGTH (LACK THERE OF) but I do like this author's stories so decided on 3 stars.

Great storyline. Strong characters who show integrity and have a strong faith. Suspenseful. Full of twists and turns. Of course I love the happy ending.
I love Romantic suspense and this one was wonderful. Well written, great plot and wonderful characters. I highly recommend this book. great wait to read more by this author!
I truly enjoyed this book. I was a little short but it was good. I have read several books by this author and I do enjoy their contents. Good stories.
I always enjoy Margaret Daley's work. Her heroines are strong women who remain strong, not acting in such a way that now that the male lead has entered the picture, they can step into the background and let him be both brains and brawn. Sarah Osborn is competent and confident and remains so. She and her counterpart compliment one another in both strengths and values. Always get a Margaret Daley when I see one.
Ian broke Sarah's heart. With plans to attend the same college & then marry, his plans changed when his friend died from a bomb. Ian left devastated & ended up an FBI agent, trying to prevent others from being killed. Sarah became a law officer in her small town. When Ian returned to his family farm danger followed him. Can Sarah keep Ian & his farm safe? This is a great series showing God's protection!
Deadly Intent by Margaret Daley was quite interesting. This book has great character detail. I loved the development of the characters and their individual story lines. All wrapped together in a neat package this was a very interesting story. I was excited and wanted to read more every time I picked up the book (like a TV commercial -- I read until my transit stop so there is a point I have to put the book away). I recommend this book to anyone who wants a good mystery with great characters and a lot of twists and turns to keep you guessing.
I LOVED this story, but I felt it was a bit rushed in the HEA ending. Could have been a bit longer. I'm enjoying this series of clean romantic suspense that makes it hard to put the book(s) down! Ms. Daley is one of my favorite authors!
