After several unsuccessful attempts at murdering our heroine, Lucien learns the identity of the attacker. Eventually Katherine escapes from her captor, and all is explained. Unfortunately I found the motive for the attacks and murder attempts unconvincing. If one is unaware of enmity, can murderous actions be perceived? This is a sweet love story, but it is not without flaws. I plan to read another book by this author before I make a final judgment of her writing skills.

It was a nice easy read.
Great book.
I haven't finished reading this yet but can say so far it's been a very good read
Oh those were the days. Good escape.
I wouldn't say it was great. I had a hard time finishing it. It was a new release when I bought it. But I swear I read this book before a few years ago it was the exact same story throughout the book. That was the main reason why I had a hard time to finish it, did mostly a skim through. Wanted to at least read it since I paid for it.
